Traverse Catholic Federal Credit Union (TCFCU) is a member-owned federal credit union headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, with branches in Traverse City, Interlochen and Lake Leelanau. It began in 1950 as Parts Manufacturing Credit Union, became Mills Manufacturing Credit Union in 1955, and was chartered as East Traverse Catholic Federal Credit Union on 7 April 1957. It merged with Leelanau Catholic Credit Union in 1994 and adopted the Traverse Catholic name in 2015 while remaining legally East Traverse Catholic Federal Credit Union. Membership is open to people who live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska or Leelanau County, and to their immediate families.
