First Financial Credit Union was a member financial cooperative serving Chicago and nearby Illinois communities in the United States. In 2023 it launched the encurage financial network with three other formerly independent credit unions; that organization merged into Great Lakes Credit Union on June 1, 2024. This Plaid connector identifies the former Illinois institution and provides account-data capabilities including balances and transactions, with OAuth authentication named by Plaid. Its exact deposit, loan, card, investment and business-account coverage has not been established. It is distinct from Great Lakes Credit Union's successor connector and from unrelated First Financial credit unions in California and New Mexico. Finicity, Yodlee and Teller also identify separate Illinois connectors, whose full account coverage is not necessarily identical. A current customer-facing website for the former institution could not be confirmed.
