Svenska Handelsbanken AB, founded in Stockholm in 1871, is a Swedish banking group whose Finnish branch offered retail, private and business banking. This GoCardless (formerly Nordigen) connector is labelled Handelsbanken Private and was listed for Finland; its BIC HANDFIHH is assigned by SWIFTRef to Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ), filialverksamheten i Finland, in Helsinki. Handelsbanken sold Finnish operations in stages and ended personal account, online-banking and payment services on 31 March 2025; its Finnish site now handles remaining matters. The connector's Private label identifies the personal/private segment, distinct from the separate GoCardless Handelsbanken Corporate catalogue connector, but its exact historical eligible account products are not documented.
