Banco BPI, S.A. is a Portuguese commercial bank headquartered in Porto, with origins in Sociedade Portuguesa de Investimentos in 1981 and Banco Português de Investimento in 1985. Its commercial banking operations were consolidated in 1998. CaixaBank took control in 2017 and became its sole shareholder in 2018; BPI continues to operate under its own name. Its Portuguese site serves personal, business and corporate customers with accounts, savings, cards and lending. This GoCardless (formerly Nordigen) connector provides account balances and transactions in Portugal. The provider identifies personal, business and corporate account support, pending transactions and, in more recent records, card accounts. Current accounts in EUR and USD are observed in connected accounts; the sample does not establish their personal or business ownership or verify individual card products. Investment, pension and loan-account coverage is not established. Tink and Enable Banking offer separate connectors to the same bank, with overlapping personal and business segments but unconfirmed product-level equivalence. This connector does not represent CaixaBank's own banking accounts or the unrelated Bank of the Philippine Islands, which also uses BPI.
