Empower Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative serving Central New York and the Southern Tier in the United States. It was formed in 2007 through the merger of Power Federal Credit Union and Empire Federal Credit Union, whose roots date to 1939 and 1950 respectively. The credit union offers personal and business checking and savings, certificates, credit cards and loans. This Plaid OAuth connector provides access to eligible account balances and transactions, with additional account verification, identity, investment and liability products named in its provider record. The precise coverage of business accounts and individual loan, card and investment products is not established. Finicity and Yodlee offer separate connectors to the same credit union, with different authentication and data capabilities. It is distinct from Wisconsin's similarly named Empower Credit Union and from Empower's retirement-plan and investment-services business.
