GE Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, serving eligible members in the United States, including Puerto Rico. Founded in 1940 as General Electric Conduit and Wire Credit Union, it later became General Electric Employees Federal Credit Union and adopted the GE Credit Union name in 2014. It offers personal checking, savings, certificates, cards and loans, as well as business banking. This non-OAuth Plaid connector provides access to account balances and transactions through the member banking service, with account authentication, identity, assets and income products also identified by Plaid. The precise supported account types, including business, loan and card coverage, are not established. It is distinct from the Greater Cincinnati-based General Electric Credit Union. Plaid also retains a separate connector under the Employees FCU name with matching product and routing-number records; its technical distinction and exact overlap are unconfirmed. Finicity, Yodlee and Teller offer separate former-name or current-name integrations whose coverage should not be assumed identical.
