Waypoint Credit Union, legally Waypoint Federal Credit Union, is a member-owned, federally insured credit union headquartered in Norwich, Connecticut. Its charter began in 1936 as Norwich Connecticut Teachers Federal Credit Union, was renamed CorePlus Credit Union in 2001, and on 1 October 2025 combined with Scient Federal Credit Union, a Groton credit union founded in 1968 by Pfizer employees and later called Ledge Light Federal Credit Union. Waypoint serves members in the United States through branches across eastern Connecticut, and new members join through the American Consumer Council. This Plaid connector links member accounts at waypointcu.org for balances and transactions and is marked for OAuth authorization; its provider record also includes identity, investment, liability and payment products. The credit union offers personal checking, savings, certificates, cards and loans and business checking and business credit cards, and its site presents one Online Banking sign-in rather than a separate business portal, so this connector is the member connection and not a business-only channel. It does not reach Waypoint Bank, an unrelated community bank in Nebraska and Colorado.
